Les affiches de l’exposition Berthe Weill – Galeriste d’avant-garde reposent sur un dialogue visuel fort entre deux portraits : celui de Berthe Weill, dessiné par Émilie Charmy, et celui de Charmy elle-même, peintre majeure de sa collection et amie proche. Leur mise en regard légèrement inclinée crée un jeu de tension et de complicité qui évoque le rôle décisif de Weill dans la reconnaissance des artistes femmes et des avant-gardes. L'inclinaison fait écho à la manière dont elle a sans cesse renversé les codes : une galeriste en marge, mais toujours en avance, portée par une énergie de liberté qui animait sa galerie.
La palette pastel, associée à une typographie orange vif occupant tout l’espace, crée un contraste fort entre douceur et affirmation. Le nom « Berthe Weill », presque débordant, réinscrit symboliquement sa présence dans une histoire de l’art qui l’a trop longtemps oubliée, porté par une typographie solide et ample qui évoque son tempérament déterminé.

The posters for the exhibition Berthe Weill, Art Dealer of the Avant-Garde are built around a strong visual dialogue between two portraits: one of Berthe Weill, drawn by Émilie Charmy, and one of Charmy herself, a major painter in Weill’s collection and a close friend. Slightly tilted, their juxtaposition creates a sense of tension and complicity that reflects Weill’s decisive role in supporting women artists and the early avant-garde. 

The inclination also echoes the way she challenged conventions.
Soft pastel tones contrast with a vivid orange typography that expands across the poster. Berthe Weill’s name, almost overflowing the space, symbolically restores her presence within an art history that long overlooked her, while the bold and expansive letterforms evoke her strong character and determination.
