L’exposition « Signac Collectionneur » met en lumière une facette méconnue de Paul Signac, figure majeure du néo-impressionnisme : celle d’un collectionneur passionné et visionnaire.
Des impressionnistes aux fauves, sa collection haute en couleur reflète le regard singulier et les partis pris audacieux d’un artiste pleinement engagé dans la vie artistique de son époque.
La police de caractères choisie allie simplicité et élégance. Elle soutient l’approche artistique de Signac tout en apportant une fluidité de lecture et une touche de modernité. Elle s’adapte aux différents espaces pour s’harmoniser avec l’ambiance lumineuse et colorée de l’exposition.
Les cartels destinés aux enfants sont un clin d’œil à l’univers marin cher à Signac, grand amateur de voile. Ils prennent la forme d’un bateau flottant sur l’eau, évoquant l’esthétique pointilliste.

The exhibition “Signac the Collector” sheds light on a lesser-known side of Paul Signac, a leading figure of Neo-Impressionism: that of a passionate and visionary art collector.
From the Impressionists to the Fauves, his vibrant collection reveals the bold eye and strong artistic convictions of a man deeply involved in the cultural life of his time.
The typeface combines simplicity and elegance, supporting Signac’s artistic vision while offering both readability and a contemporary touch. It adapts seamlessly to each space, echoing the exhibition’s luminous and colorful atmosphere.
The exhibition also includes labels specially designed for children—playful nods to Signac’s love of the sea. Shaped like small boats gliding across the water, they capture the spirit of pointillism in a way that invites young visitors to explore.
